Tennessee continues to be a hotbed for high school football talent, and the future looks brighter than ever. From dominating linemen to explosive skill players, these rising underclassmen are already making noise and turning heads. Here’s a look at some standout athletes from the classes of 2027–2029 who impressed at the AEX Combine Tennessee.
Caleb Coffman | OL | Class of 2027

Coffman stood out as one of the most fundamentally sound linemen in the group. He brings a strong frame and powerful lower body that allows him to stand up defenders at the point of attack. Busby is a smooth, athletic playmaker who can make an impact on both sides of the ball. As a receiver, he shows strong hands and quick separation. On defense, his speed and instincts allow him to cover ground and break on the ball effectively. Jamonie is a rising two-way threat with the potential to become a major contributor for Lebanon High.

Mylan Morris is a physical force. He plays aggrestively and treats every one-on-one rep like a challenge. As he continues to build strength and improve his agility, expect him to become a dominant presence in the trenches.

One of the youngest prospects on this list, Bloomfield displays poise well beyond his years. He impressed with a strong arm paired with impressive accuracy. As he begins his high school career at Battle Ground Academy, he’s definitely a name to watch in the coming years.
Elijah Hensley | RB | Class of 2028

Hensley is a dynamic offensive weapon with impressive versatility. The young running back delivered one of the top performances in both sprint and agility drills. He also stood out during wide receiver reps, showcasing reliable hands and route-running ability. With good footwork, solid burst, and soldi fundimental base, Hensley is poised for a strong season at Ensworth as his development continues.
Moses Miller | RB | Class of 2027

Miller was one of the more polished running backs at the combine. He displayed impressive footwork, agility, and speed, all while running with a strong, compact frame. Quincy Mitchell was one of the quickest athletes at the combine, recording top marks in both sprint and agility drills.
