Woods was hired in September of 2022 and enters his first season with the Roughriders in the spring of 2023.

Woods comes to Yavapai College from Keller, Texas, where he was the the Director of Coaching and Operations for the North Texas Baseball Club (NTXBC) since October of 2009.

While with NTXBC, Woods directed and managed a coaching staff of 22 coaches and 250-plus players biannually. 90-plus% of Woods' players went on to play baseball at the collegiate level.
