Bobby Sprowl has built a lasting legacy as the head coach at Shelton State Community College.

During his 33-year career, Sprowl has won more than 1,100 games, sent more than 250 players to four-year schools, had 30 players drafted in the Major League Draft, had three former players play Major League Baseball and won five Alabama Community College Conference championships and played in five NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.
