Adam Stevens became the Head Coach of the Aurora University baseball program in May of 2014. Prior to the 2019-2020 year, Stevens was named an Assistant Athletic Director for Student Programming.

In his time at AU, Stevens has returned the Spartans back to prominence in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and the national scene. Averaging 35 wins since 2018, the Spartans have played in four consecutive NCAA Regionals, being only one of eleven teams in Division III Baseball to do so. The 38 wins in 2021 is tied for the most in a single season in the illustrious history of AU baseball. The Spartans have ranked in the D3 Baseball Top 25 the last four seasons, reaching as high as fifth under Stevens' leadership.
