Zac Mishler was named Interim Head Coach of the baseball team on May 26, 2021. Mishler joined the Alderson Broaddus athletic department as the Assistant Baseball Coach in February of 2017 & begins his fifth season with the Battlers.

In 2021, he helped the Battlers earn their first postseason wins since 2016 on a team that had five Battlers earn All-MEC honors.
